Well 6-4 is working hard on their environmental documentaries.

There is a lot of work to do between now and the time we film on June 13th.

They have set their own deadlines and I hope all the groups will finish.

I know they will! I can’t wait to see the documentaries.

Africa

Chapter 2 in our Math at Hand book is all about Africa. When I was in university I visited Kenya and Tanzania for six weeks. It was a great trip. I flew into Nairobi and rented a Landrover with a few guys I met on the plane. We spent six weeks driving around and camping. One memorable night was when an elephant came and starting eating off a tree we had been camping under. The tree started shaking and when I got out of the tent there was a huge elephant standing there looking at me. I went and turned on the lights of our truck. The elephant just looked at me and continued eating. Ten minutes later when he had finished eating, he just walked away!elephant-standing.jpg
